Dear Taxi Riders/Passengers,

As we stated in the web page link “About Us” on are site below, Our goal and ambitions were to help Seattle/King County Taxi/For-Hire Drivers increase their daily earning potentials and help improve Seattle’s Taxi Services by giving the public a choice or another alternative when they were trying to get a taxi cab.

We received a written notice from Seattle Taxi Officials on Friday, January, 27, 2008 regarding our web site perhaps being illegal or in violation of a Seattle Municipal Code.

We here at TaxiDriversDirect.Com have never felt our site was illegal or in any way in violation of any Seattle Municipal Codes and after having the city’s recent notice to us reviewed by our legal counsel, we are pleased that Seattle Taxi Officials seem to concur with our position in this matter.

Therefore, we have no further comments on this issue at this time. However, if the situation should change, please check back on this web page for additional updates.
